I THE WHO hanno annunciato oggi che lanceranno la loro residenza esclusiva a Las Vegas questa estate al The Colosseum at Caesars Palace a partire dal 29 luglio 2017.
Una delle band rock più leggendarie e determinanti, THE WHO si unisce alla casa dei più grandi intrattenitori del mondo come la prima rock band a prendere residenza al The Colosseum dall'apertura del locale nel 2003.
I biglietti per la prima serie di sei spettacoli in programma dal 29 luglio all'11 agosto saranno in vendita al pubblico a partire da venerdì 17 marzo a mezzogiorno PT. La residenza è presentata congiuntamente da Caesars Entertainment e AEG Presents.

I fan possono aspettarsi che la band li accompagni in un "Viaggio incredibile" attraverso l'intera carriera, dai giorni di "THE HIGH NUMBERS" fino ad album classici come "WHO'S NEXT", "TOMMY", "QUADROPHENIA", "MY GENERATION" e 'LIVE AT LEEDS' fino ai giorni nostri.
THE WHO have sold over 100 million records since forming in 1964; they brought together four different personalities and in effect produced a musical hurricane. Each of them was a pioneer. Wildman drummer Keith Moon beat his kit with a chaotic elegance; stoic bassist John Entwistle held down the center with the melodic virtuosity of a solo guitarist; raging intellectual Pete Townshend punctuated the epic universality of his songs with the windmill slamming of his fingers across his guitar strings; and Roger Daltrey roared above it all with an impossibly virile macho swagger. They exploded conventional rhythm and blues structures, challenged pop music conventions, and redefined what was possible on stage, in the recording studio, and on vinyl. Now into their 53rd year, the band is still going strong and winning rave reviews.
